It’s That Time of Year Again…

OCTOBERFEST!!!!!!
Ok, it’s time for fall as well. But who can conjure fond thoughts of fall without two thoughts coming to mind…Football and Octoberfest! Octoberfest is a time when beautiful fall colors are exemplified and displayed at all the various arts & craft vendors. Often you may find heritage reenactments of days long past demonstrating the art of quilting, preserving meats, or even candle making. All in preparation for the long hard winter our ancestors used to have to endure each year.
This year the city of South Charleston, WV will be celebrating Octoberfest on October 3, 2009 from 10am – 4pm in the Spring Hill district.
Attractions will include:
- Arts & Crafts Booths
- Flea Market
- Canine Costume Contest
- Live Entertainment
- KidzZone
- And who could forget – GOOD FOOD!
